Open Access Special Issue Call for Papers from ICNAAM 2019
The 17th International Conference of Numerical Analysis and Applied Mathematics (ICNAAM 2019) will be held September 23-28, 2019 at the Sheraton Rhodes Resort, Rhodes, Greece. ICNAAM provides an international meeting for sharing and discussing the latest research and knowledge in numerical analysis and applied mathematics. It aims to bring together computational and applied mathematicians across the globe including researchers in the early stages of their careers and others who are very well-known in their field. With the fast development of computational sciences and engineering, ICNAAM has witnessed an exponential growth of mathematical sciences and an unprecedentedly broad range of real-life applications of mathematics and numerical analysis.
4open announces an open call for quality papers devoted to selected full papers from ICNAAM 2019. All contributing authors from ICNAAM 2019 are invited to submit a full paper version of their short paper accepted and presented during ICNAAM 2019. Papers accepted in 4open will be published open access and freely available to everyone.
4open Submission Details
Authors are encouraged to develop their conference presentations/papers into full original submissions that explore the research presented at ICNAAM, and go further in the reporting of mathematical sciences, referencing and acknowledging additional and alternative sources.
All authors must adhere to the journal's editorial standards. Full instructions for authors can be viewed online. Manuscripts must be submitted through the 4open online submission system (http://www.editorialmanager.com/fopen/default.aspx). Authors need to make sure that they specify the paper is a contribution for ‘Special Issue: ICNAAM2019’ in the comments section when they upload their manuscript.
Copyright on any article in the 4open is retained by the author(s) under the Creative Commons license, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction provided the original work is properly cited.
4open supports Liberty Article Processing Charges (APC), a model of “Pay What You Want”, for the publication of accepted articles in 4open. All ICNAAM authors will have the choice to determine their APC, which can be €0/$0. The full APC of the journal is €1100.
4open Review process
All submissions are subject to rigorous peer review. Further details relating to ethical standards can be viewed on the journal's website.
Each manuscript goes through a Similarity Check/iThenticate and a technical check prior to begin assigned to the Special Issue Guest Editor, and journal Editor-in-Chief. If judged suitable, it will be directed to at least two independent referees for a double-blind peer review. Referees have 3 weeks to review and provide authors a reviewer report. Revised and accepted manuscripts are processed in production and published online in order they are received.

Deadline for submission: 31 January, 2020.
Publication of articles: From January 2020 onwards - All accepted special issue articles will be featured in the ‘4open’ article list as soon as they are ready to be published. They will also be displayed in the topical issue section of the website, so visitors can conveniently see all the articles related to the ICNAAM.
